01/16/05 Location: Misc. park in Adelaide, SA 21-15-9 for time: JumpStretch Overhead Squats Ring Dips Time 8:43 Comments: This was a WOD from Jan.11/06 that I modified a bit. I gave overhead squats a try using my jumpstrech band and it actually worked rather well, with a noticeable emphasis on the shoulders and core. Also, instead of Handstand push-ups I did ring dips, which I found to be dam tough after the OHS and really held up my time.

I was suppose to do 400m runs before the HSPU but my legs were killing me from all the walking I did during the day and running from the day before. "Light Square"

My pedometer isn't calibrated right so I think the 800 runs were a bit longer than 800m. Felt good to do this after sitting in a crammed van for the last 10 hours and not working out the day before.

01/04/06 Location: Park across from Alice's Backpacker Lodge, Alice Springs, NT "Alice" 21-15-9 for time of: Run 400m 1.5 pood KB swings Burpee/pull-up combo Time 16:15 w/ approximately a 60lbs rock for the swings Comments: I don't know if it was the heat or the WOD or both but this one was deadly and because it was I've decided to name this one Alice in honor of Alice Springs and Alice's Backpackers Lodge.
01/03/05 Location: Park across from ALice's Backpacker Lodge, Alice Springs, NT 2 rounds for time of: 30 push-ups 30 pull-ups 30 Thruster Tosses 30 JS Squats 30 Squat Cleans Time 21:27 w/ approximately a 50lbs rock for the tosses and squat cleans Comments: A solid chipper done in about 40 degree heat. I missed an extra day due to going on about 1 hour of sleep over a 30 hour period after new years and going out to see Uluru on the 2nd. "A dam good park and a dam good rock"
