Well here’s another massive update for you. I’ll probably start updating on a weekly basis starting up here instead of near monthly. A few things I’d like to comment on; My Fran time was way down from last time I did her but my Cindy total was up and my times on a lot of bodyweight WOD that I got off Crossfit.com were quite comparable with a lot of people and in fact April 15/06 inverted-burpee insanity WOD, I actually scored pretty good on albeit I only did 4 rounds. My runs are also feeling great with a petty good 10k yesterday.
I’ve been going pretty good WOD wise but diet wise that’s a different story; Yeah I guess there’s to be some slippage, as I am on “vacation” (if you call working on a pig farm a vacation) and I am having to eat what the host people have and what they serve me but I still have been falling into the world of sin and getting a little too dirty with too many breads, grains, pasta and cheese goodness. To help alleviate this problem I’ve decided to start a food log and write down what I eat each day. I’ve never had a food journal before because I’ve been pretty good about food and just never needed one but things have been slipping too much lately and it’s got to stop. That said, I don’t expect it to be perfect but it could be a lot better. I’m off back to Kangaroo Island here in the next couple days and will be pretty much doing all my own cooking for a bit so that will help tremendously with the turn around that I’m going for. Back to the zone and back to pure paleo goodness.

I used my pedometer to track my distance, which I know is set right at 400m, might be a little off over 10km, that said I’m surprised I ran the total distance and in a decent time too.

I could have sworn I did 21 rounds on this one but I’ve got 20 written down so... Pretty good effort but push-ups held me way back, as did that WOD from the other day. My Fran time was way down but my Cindy total is higher then what it was back home, interesting.

This was a tough one and a WOD from April 15/06. I thought I was pathetically out of shape while doing this one and quit at 4 when I realized I’d been going for a half an hour, afterwards I checked some of the other scores that people were posting online I saw that I wasn’t doing too bad and now I wish I would have done all 5 rounds. I’ll have to remember this one and give it another shot with 5 rounds to compare myself with the rest of the pack.

My first workout in a gym since 11/03/05 when I left home. My last Fran was back home on August 30, using 75lbs and had a score of 5:46 so there’s definite detraining going on there. As for Diane, my last go at her was on June 9, using 225lbs and a score of 14:30. I kept the weight pretty light, as this was the first time I was using any type of real equipment in 5 months. I’ve got mixed feelings about it all, Fran was down but Diane was way up but with a lot less weight.

It ends up what I thought was 400m wasn’t actually 400m but more like 300m so my times with running have been a little bit better than what they should be.
Used my 17kg rock for this one.
